Personalise your message. Think about the person you’re approaching. Why should they even bother to give you his/her attention in the first place? Better still, what’s in it for them?



People are far more likely to read the message if it’s well written, with the right salutation and tone, otherwise 99% of the time, the message will get ignored.



Quality contacts are better than trying to increase your network.
