Keep going

Introduction
It’s ok to have good intentions without good results. Just keep going.
The problem with good intentions is that they can be tough to measure.
It’s easy to tell if someone has done something wrong (or right), but it’s not as easy to measure their good intentions. It’s often impossible. People can tell you what they want to do and why they want to do it, but those good intentions don’t necessarily translate into good results.
So, while we all want to believe that the world is full of good people who are trying their best and doing the right thing, there are also lots of people who have good intentions that disappoint or fail us somehow.
Maybe your boss wants to give you a raise, but he doesn’t think you deserve it yet. Or maybe your friend wants to help you move, but she has other obligations preventing her from helping out this time. Or maybe your spouse wants to stop fighting with you all the time, but he/she feels overwhelmed by everything going on at work or in his personal life right now.
The reality is that most of us have good intentions at some point in our lives — whether we’re talking about our careers or our relationships or even just simple things like being kinder toward others.

Good intentions
Good intentions are important, but they aren’t necessarily enough. They can be the start of something great, but they’re not the end goal. A good intention is just that—good. But it doesn’t mean that it will come to fruition.
For example, you have a good intention to relax and unwind after work by taking a bath with Epsom salts and lavender oil. Still, when you get home from work, all you want to do is take off your shoes and fall asleep on the couch (especially if someone has been watching Netflix without you).

Good results
You will not always get immediate results from your actions.
You may not get the results you expect.
Sometimes, good things happen to bad people.
Sometimes, bad things happen to good people.
The key is to keep taking action to pursue your goal and let the chips fall where they may when it comes time for results.

Keep going
When you don't see the results you want, keep going.
When you don’t feel motivated, keep going.
When it seems like nothing is working and life is dragging on and on, keep going.
Keep pushing forward even when you can't see any progress—keep moving forward until something changes for the better (even if it's just a little bit).

Stay motivated and focused
Stay motivated.
Stay focused.
Don't give up.
Don't be discouraged by setbacks; don’t let them prevent you, either. Even when things seem like they're falling apart, keep going and remember that every problem has a solution—you have to keep searching until you find it! If something keeps you from progressing towards your goal, ask for help from someone who can give it (a friend or family member) or look online for advice on how to fix the issue yourself.

It’s ok to have good intentions without good results. Just keep going.
You know you’re doing your best, and that is enough. You are enough, just as you are, right now, and that counts for something more than anything else in your life.
You keep showing up and giving it all of your heart, even when things get hard or feel impossible. Keep trying, give yourself a break when you need one, but don’t give up on yourself or others along the way (or stop being proud of yourself for making it this far).

Conclusion
Whatever your goal, it’s essential to keep going. You may not see results immediately, but that doesn’t mean your efforts are wasted. Good intentions can lead to good results if you stay motivated and focused on your goals all the way through.
