SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)
- What am I really good at? This may be something you do regularly without even thinking too much about it because it comes to you naturally and you do it often.
- Examples include: communicating really well with people you don’t know. It may be over the phone or in person. Speaking in front of a group of people. Maybe people at work or at home have said you might be really good at something?
Once you have figured out what you are good at, how have you demonstrated this?
Think of weaknesses as development area rather than a negative thing. Thinking of this as a development area will help you to identify areas where you can improve.
Have you received any feedback from your friends, tutors, potential employers? Examples can be: Public speaking, time management, speaking with confidence to senior level professionals, like management and leaders or to interviewers during interviews.
