Each Day is a gift

Introduction

Each day brings a new opportunity to be prosperous and joyful. So, why not make the most of it? The first thing you should do is wake up with a positive attitude. Smile and be grateful for another opportunity to succeed!

Each day is a new day.

Each day is a new opportunity. Each day is a unique chance to make a difference in the world and to be happy, prosperous, and healthy. It's important to remember that each day is a blessing—and it's also important to honour that by choosing how you spend your time wisely.

Be grateful for your day.

  • Each day is a gift, and we must be grateful for our lives.

  • Every morning when you wake up, think about all the good things in your life instead of dwelling on the negative aspects of it (such as being sick or having a lousy job). Remember: your health is something most people would give anything to have!

  • Do something nice for someone every day (even if it's just smiling at them). The world could use more kindness and less hate these days, so why not contribute?

  • Write down one thing you're thankful for each night before bedtime—this will help remind you what matters most in life! If nothing comes to mind... start with "I'm grateful that I'm alive." It may seem obvious, but sometimes we forget just how lucky we are until someone reminds us :)

Be grateful for the people in your life.

This is the most critical step: Be grateful for the people in your life. Be thankful for your family, friends and loved ones—the people who make you feel safe and happy. Be grateful for your co-workers, neighbours and community members—the strangers who have gone out of their way to make a positive difference in your life.

Be grateful for your country—for the freedoms it provides everyone, the opportunity it gives its citizens to become successful, its rich history that spans centuries, and its ability to provide refuge to those in need worldwide. And be grateful for our planet—this beautiful blue orb that gives us everything we need, from water and food to oxygen, so we can go about our daily lives without worry or concern about survival.

Smile and enjoy life with a positive attitude.

The next time you decide to smile, think about the benefits. Smiling is contagious and can change your mood and make you feel better. If you're feeling down or stressed out, try smiling instead of frowning or yelling at someone—it will help lower those negative feelings and put a spring in your step!

It's also been proven that smiling can change how attractive others perceive us. When we smile, our face becomes more symmetrical, and our expressions become more relaxed; that makes us look like less threatening people who are ready to be kinder or play with other children (or dogs).

You only have today, right now, this moment to live.

Life is a gift that you only have today, right now. You cannot go back in time to change the past, and you cannot predict the future. The only thing you can do is control how you live this moment and make it count. This does not mean that there aren't things to worry about or problems we need to solve, but if we are going to waste our time worrying about those things, why bother living at all?

It's so important for people to realise how short life is because it gives us perspective on what matters: family, friends, love and living each day as if it was our last one on earth so we can appreciate every minute of this experience called life without worrying about what may happen tomorrow or next week or even next year!

Make your day successful by focusing on what you want to do, not what you don't want to do.

The energy you send out into the universe is what comes back to you. If you're in a bad mood and thinking about all the things that annoy or upset you, that's what will come your way. But if you focus on what makes life worth living for YOU, that is precisely what will show up for YOU.

Here are some examples:

  • Focus on things like gratitude and abundance and joyfulness; not stress or boredom or sadness

  • Focus on feeling good about yourself; not feeling inadequate or insecure in any way.

Your actions will help determine whether you have a gift or a challenge today.

By choosing to think and act positively, you're more likely to have an overall joyous day. Similarly, by focusing on the negative, you'll experience more challenges throughout your day.

Here are some examples of ways that you can focus on the positive:

  • You can choose to be grateful for all of your blessings.

  • You can make a list of things that you're looking forward to this week or month.

  • If something goes wrong during the day, instead of dwelling on how it could have been prevented or what went wrong (i.e., "I should've done X"), try reframing it as something positive (i.e., "That's great practice for next time").

In every situation, focus on joy and success!

When in a situation, focus on what you want to do, not what you don't want to do. Focus on the positive, not the negative. Focus on what you can do, not what you cannot do. Focus on what is working in the situation and make it better!

Acknowledge that everything happens for a reason because "God" (your higher self) wants it to happen for you to grow or learn something from it. This can be difficult at first, but once we begin accepting life's challenges with an open mind and heart, our lives become more accessible because we have let go of resisting change instead of embracing change as part of our journey through life!

Conclusion

Remember that each day is a gift. There's no time to waste on negative thoughts and feelings. Focus on what you want to do, not what you don't want to do. Your actions will help determine whether you have a gift or a challenge today!
